Hypertext Terminology
Everyone knows that computer users have a language of their own. This program uses a few terms that you should be familiar with.
- Page
- A screen, containing either text, graphics, or both. If needed, pages have scroll bars so that all the information can be made visible.
- Hyperlink
- A section of highlighted text that connects two pages
This program consists of a series of pages linked by hyperlinks. You move through the pages by clicking on the hyperlinks or by pressing TAB until the desired link is highlighted, then pressing ENTER. To use scroll bars, click the left mouse button on the direction you want the text to scroll until you can see what you need to see. Click below to try.
